... To tell you the truth, i don't... really... know >_>;; anyways. i thought this crazy anime looked insanely cool from the moment i saw a picture. I think that FLCL was a wonderful anime. definately, within the top 5 animes of anyone who's watched it.

It's just so mind-blogglingly amazing. (this is hard for me, yo). It seems so complex, it's so fast-paced, that even the most jaded anime fan would have trouble keeping up with it.

Whatever GAINAX did when making this, it was right. i'm not even sure it was intentional, on GAINAX's part. This is a great anime. and i'm talking, great. Something people won't ever forget, like Sailor Moon, Execl Saga, El Hazard, Card Captor Sakura, Evangelion, Rurouni Kenshin great. it's timeless. and it hella earned that status.

Anyways... i digress. Why do i like FLCL? becuase, it's complex, and, i've discovered while making this shrine, stunningly simple. Everything moves by at such a pace that you don't notice how simple the plot really is, compared to something like Final Fantasy VII (see, i stopped the FFVIII comparisions XD), or Evangelion, or hell, Escaflowne! GAINAX is pummeling information about our world, Naota's world, what we don't know, our possible future as a race.. at such velocity, that we, the veiwers only have time to sit back and analyse the messages being given to us for seconds.

It's just a fun anime. The characters all have something that we can relate to, but they're also, clearly, anime characters. Naota, Haruko, Eri, and Mamimi are the extremes of our bounds in personality, as a race. they are something we wish we were, and at the same time, want to examine, like a zoo animal.

geez.. this sucks. i like it. It's amazing. there. -_-;
