just becuase i feel like doing some rather monotonus work, here is a lovely, detailed description of how our lover-boy (naota.. geez, i'm turning into mamimi XD) dresses XD, from head to toe (in that order, yo.) Note that the character designs are from GAINAX's offical site.

On his brown-haired head, naota wears one of two things. usually, he'll be wearing a red baseball cap, backwards. If he isn't wearing that, he's probably wearing a cream-colored ear-warmer thing.... i'm not so sure what that is >_>;;

next! on his shoulders, Naota is pretty much always wearing a black backpack with a tan-colored bottom. i'm assuming the tan bottom part of it is leather, as that's how backpacks are often made.

he wears a light blue, almost teal-colored hooded sweater. it has a large pocket in the front, and appears to have a zipper section near the (overly large) collar of his sweater. also around the collar, are two drawstrings, which he keeps very loose.

On his legs, he wears long, dark brown shorts. His shorts come down to his knees... Naota's got rather scrawny legs, eh? o_O;

Naota wears blue socks, with dark browny-gray shoes, which have an orange trim... he pulls his blue(o_O; blue?) socks rather high. The shoes appear to be either a)really high-top basketball-type shoes, or b)hiking boots.
